February 2020 was not an ideal time to start a business. The pandemic had just arrived and many businesses were closing their doors. In Jember, however, one small kitchen chose the opposite path.
Starting with 2 employees, Rumah Organik Jember began producing banana crisps as a healthy snack alternative. The market response exceeded every expectation. Our team now numbers 17 people, with products distributed both at home and abroad.
